ABOUT

Cyanbaal is a German-American Electro Dark Wave project founded by Patrick M. Wenzel aka Georg Kasperski in 2014. From 2015 -2019 Zattna Uhm was Part Time Member. Since 2020 a new singer, song writer Haether Wayward, became a member of the project.

The interest in different kinds of electronic music genres, Patrick M. Wenzel´s joy in experimenting lead to a very different song-structure and mood. Haether has added a dynamic to the project that creates a small romance with the spaces between. The blend of their voices makes a haunting harmony. 

 

The two interacted on social media but when met at a German club, decided it was destiny and the collaboration begun. Haether now contributes to the newest album also with musical compositions and adaptations. It is so difficult to assign Cyanbaal to a certain genre. They are very much their own style.

Again and Again, close to madness and the subconscious, the listener encounters psychologically  disturbed subjects like from Lovecraft´s stories about cosmic horror or Tim Burton’s fantastic magical worlds. These stories are carried by, in part, brute, cold song structure, hammering percussions, driving beats, accompanied by dark, sometimes disturbing surface sounds.
